In these Kidz Who CODE courses, students use prompts and activities to express their creativity through storytelling, animation and visual design all while building their own computer games and projects!

Learn to code and design a new game each course!

  • Game design in Scratch, and Scratch Jr.

  • No experience in coding required

  • Tiered difficulty level projects for beginner and intermediate coders

what age groups are your coding programs for?

Kidz Who Code programs cater to children between the ages of 6 and 12.

How much experience in coding does my child need to join a class?

No prior coding experience is required!
These programs are open to students of all experience levels, from complete beginners to those with some coding knowledge. Our instructors tailor the difficulty level of activities to meet the needs of students with varying levels of experience.

What does my child bring to class?

We provided the technology! So students do not need to bring any of these own laptops or tablets.
We encourage children to leave all valuables, including their special stuffed animal friends, at home so they don’t get lost.

Can my child join any course, at any time, during the year?

Yes - children can be signed up for any of our courses throughout the year. Each course has a different theme focusing on a variety of coding skills and techniques which students will use to build a new computer game each time.

Are there opportunities for parents/guardians to see what the students are working on in class?

Parents/guardians are encouraged to come at the end of each class to see what their child has created! Students will have mini projects and create a new computer game each course!

What are the benefits of learning to code at a young age?

Learning to code at a young age offers numerous benefits, including developing problem-solving skills, enhancing logical thinking, promoting creativity, and preparing children for future careers in technology.
